Dear EENY members, The Fall is Here! The EENY has organized another hiking day-trip for Sunday November 15th. This time we will head to Palisades Interstate Park in New Jersey, to do the Forest View Trail / Closter Dock Trail Loop from Alpine Headquarters (40 min bus ride from Port Authority Bus Terminal, NY). The loop hike combines a walk along the top of the Palisades with a steep descent to the river and a stroll along the river, passing several outstanding viewpoints and the Women?s Federation Monument. This event is free and only for EENY members. We will be hiking for around 3h. There will be an optional shorter route for members that want to bring their kids. You will have to bring your own food and drink for the day. We also recommend you to bring proper hiking shoes. We look forward to mountain hike with you!!! Euskal Etxeko bazkideak, agur! Oraingo hontan New Jersey-ko Palisades Interstate Park-era goaz, Forest View Trail / Closter Dock Trail mendi buelta egitera (40 min NY Port Authority Bus Terminal-etik). Ibilbidean zehar ondorengo lekuetatik pasako gara: Palisades gainetatik, ibai ertzetik, Women?s Federation Monumentutik, eta beste hainbat beratokietatik ere. Mendi bueltan gutxi gora behera 3 ordutan zehar ibiliko gara. Ibilbide laburrago baten aukera ere badago umeak ekarri nahi dituzten bazkideentzako. Zuen ardura izango da eguneko jan eta edaria eramatea. Mendirako oinetako egokiak ere eramatea gomendagarria da. Eguraldia lagun ez badugu irteera beste egun batetarako utziko da. Mendi irteera hau bazkideentzat soilik izango da.
