Euskal Etxeko bazkide eta lagunak, agur!

Eusko Etxeak San Tomas egunaren 9. edizioa ospatuko du, abenduaren 14an. (bide batez, urteroko legez gure eguberri festa ere bilakatuko da).

Arratsaldeko 5-etatik aurrera ekitaldi mordoa antolatuko dira Eckford Street-eko gure egoitzan:

5etatik 6:30etara, haurrentzako jolas eta jokoak izango ditugu. Etorri zure familiarekin eta hartu parte arratsaldeko festa honetan.

Arratsaldeko 6:30 Olentzero iritsiko da Euskal Etxera. Opariak garbi izendatuta eta paperez bilduta egon beharko dute.

Pintxoak erosi ahal izango dira arratzaldearen zehar.

Etorri Eusko Etxera eta ospatu dezagun San Tomas eguna behar bezala, eta eman diezaiogun ongi etorria 2019eko eguberri sasoiari.

We are proud to invite you to the Eusko Etxea of New York and celebrate with us the 8th edition of “San Tomas Eguna” festivity on Saturday December 14th (for more information about this festivity see link below).

On December 14th the event will begin at 5:00 pm. From 5:00 – 6:30 pm we will organize games for children. Come with your family and be part of the party!

At 6:30 pm Olentzero (Basque equivalent of Santa Claus see link http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ Olentzero) will arrive at Eusko Etxea. Olentzero will offer presents for all children (parents should bring the presents). As in previous years. Each present should be wrapped and their recipient clearly identified.

There will be Pintxos to purchase during the event.

Come join us! Let’s celebrate and enjoy San Tomas Eguna, our 2019 Christmas party together.

Please come to Eusko Etxea of New York on April 21st and celebrate with us the 2019 Aberri Eguna, the Fatherland Day celebrated on Easter Sunday. Due to the limited number of seats available we urge you to make your reservations as soon as possible.

On April 21st the bar will open at twelve noon, contrary to previous years this year we are not going to serve pintxos / tapas before lunch, at 1:30PM meal see picture bellow (wine, beer and sodas included).

For those who are not going to have lunch and want to say hello, you will be welcome to celebrate the jaia (the drinks will be paid at the bar).

-Adult full-day members: $65

-Adult full-day non-members: $75

-Child full-day (ages 7 to 12): $35

-Child under 7: FREE

Etorri New Yorkeko Eusko Etxeara Apirilaren 21ean, eta ospatu gurekin 2019ko Aberri Eguna. Eskuragarri dauden eserlekuen kopuru mugatua dela eta erreserbak ahalik eta lasterren egin behar ditugu.

Apirilaren 21ean taberna zabalduko da eguerdiko hamabietan, aurten aurreko urteetan ez bezela ez dira pintxoak edo tapak zerbitzatuko, 13: 30ean bazkari izango da ikusi argazkia (ardoa, garagardoa eta sodas sartuta).

Bazkaltzera joan nahi ez dutenentzat eta kaixo esatea nahi baduzu, jaia ospatuko da (edariak tabernan ordainduko dira).

Euskal etxean Bazkaria prest egongo da, eguerdiko hordu batetatik aurrera. Bazkaria borondatea izango da baina edariak kobratuko ditugu.

When: April 7 Sunday, at 12 noon.

Where to begin: East River State Park, Brooklyn, at 12 noon.

Where to finish: Euskal Etxea of New York, 307 Eckford Street.

Join in the park, take photos with Manhattan in the background and run to the Euskal Etxea. (15 minutes walking distance to get the idea)

Lunch at the Basque Center will be ready, starting at about one.

Lunch will be a donation but drinks will be charged.

Please come to the Eusko Etxea of New York and celebrate with us the “Donostia Eguna” festivity on Saturday January 27th (for more information about this festivity see the link below). This year as the prior year we are delaying one week due to the women march . For reservations please email Itziar Albisu (201.214.9649, [email protected]). Due to the limited number of seats available we urge you to make your reservations as soon as possible. The deadline for reservations is January 23nd.

On January 27th the bar will open at 7:30pm and dinner will begin at 8pm, we will serve pintxos followed by dinner, which will consist of fish soup, salad, gulas (baby eels), and cake for desert. After dinner we will play Danborrada. Dinner will be $40 per person (alcohol not included), kids free will have mac and cheese.

Make your own drum for the danborrada dinner!! You just need a can of coffee, a rope to use it as a belt and the attached picture “I danborrada NY” to cover the drum.

We look forward to celebrate the Donostia Eguna with you!!!

Donostia eguna, larunbatean urtarrilaren 27-an gurekin ospatzera gonbidatzen zaituztegu. Aurten joan zen urtean bezela aste bete atzeratzen dugu ekintza Women march dela eta.

Erreserbak egiteko, mesedez mezua bidaliozue Itziar Albisuri (201.214.9649, [email protected]).

Urtarrilak 27an Euskal Etxea arratsaldeko 7:30 irekiko da taberna eta afaria 8 etan hasiko da. Afaria arrai sopa, entsalada, gulak, eta tarta izango dugu. Ondoren danborrada joko dugu. Afaria $40 bakoitzeko izango da (alkohola kanpo), gaztetxoak gratis mac and cheese.

Beharrezko material guztiak ditugun arren, ondo pasa zure familiarekin eta zeure danborra egin danborrada afarirako!!

Besterik gabe kafe pote bat behar duzu, gerriko bat danborrean eransteko eta emailean erantzitako "I Danborrada NY" danborra estaltzeko.

Irrikitan gaude zuekin Donostia Eguna ospatu ahal izateko!!!
